›Photos of Japan

Tohoku region (東北地方) is located in the northeastern part of Honshū island. Tohoku consists of 6 prefectures: Akita, Aomori, Fukushima, Iwate, Miyagi and Yamagata.

I do not know a lot this region where I went only 2 times. The 1st time was for attending to a congress in the little town of Morioka, the 2nd time was for visiting Sendai and Matsushima bay which is considered to be one of the 3 most scenic spots in Japan with Miyajima and Amanohashidate.
